We study the electronic properties of novel two-dimensional (2D) and topological materials for their application in future low-power electronics and quantum information processing. In particular, we combine quantitative local-probe spectroscopy by scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM), with electron transport spectroscopy of quantum devices, both at cryogenic temperatures (4.2K down to ~100mK) and in vectorized magnetic fields.
